About SteamID 1 Feb 2005 at 12:57
ProLeague International

I just want to make some things clear because there are too many conflicts about players with wrong or false SteamID.

If you fill in the option "SteamID required", then you must check that the SteamID matches on the site BEFORE the match and in the match. If you start a conflict after the war and say that the SteamID didn't match then you gonna lose the conflict.

So it is up to yourself to check it. Type "status" in console and take a few extra minutes to view over the IDs and play if everything is ok.
No matching SteamID = cancel match

Freelancers and stand-in players are not allowed. If you are not registered at ProLeague then you can't play wars.

So to avoid these problems go to a server, type "status" in console, copy your SteamID and fill it in to your profile.

I think it's a very good idea. The whiners who lose would whine less, since this new rule. Furthermore it is LESS work for the admins, but if the admins have to do too much work, things could get messy. And lst but not least, the clans (and their members) can check themselves if the STEAM ID's match! It's not ONLY an admin thingy!!!

Peace...

Well it is only polish teams who make these kind of lame conflicts and it has to stop. And read the earlier news and rules! Everyone has to fill in its own steam ID on site!

very lame... VERY lame...
its just so you guys have to do less.
why check before the war.

The normal answer would be; type status in console, make screenshot. and check after the war. I hope other teams can trust other teams other then dispicing eachother by doing weirdo stuff

Sounds pretty clear to me...People cant abuse the rule anymore. So when you lost a match you can't win it by saying "..the steam id's were incorrect..." Nice story sajko
